Job Description: Kautilya School of Public Policy is looking to hire self-starting, motivated individuals as Academic Associate (AA). The suitable candidate is expected to work towards Kautilya’s mission of creating an inclusive public policy ecosystem. The AA will support the faculty primarily in teaching and several related activities, including, but not limited to, curriculum development, course design, and public policy research, in addition to performing relevant duties and other responsibilities as assigned. This position is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension based on performance. Qualification- Master’s degree in Economics or related disciplines such as Economic Development, Political Science, Rural Development, Finance Economics, Environmental Economics, and International Economics etc. Interest in education and research and prior experience with curriculum development and teaching assistance will be a plus. Required Skills- ★ Good understanding of the Indian public policy ecosystem. ★ Interest in advocating social and economic equity. ★ Exceptional attention to the smallest detail. ★ Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. ★ Strong verbal and written communication skills. What you will do- ★ Assist class facilitation by updating the learning management system (LMS), ★ Conduct literature reviews, ★ Collect and analyze data ★ Recruit and interview research subjects, ★ Prepare interview questions and summarize responses ★ Grading student work and coordinating with guest lecturers and other duties as assigned. ★ Conduct research, gather data, and publish research papers to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in your field.
