Graphic Designer

Kautilya School of Public Policy is seeking a Graphic Designer to support communications, outreach, and academic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual sensibility, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality designs across both print and digital formats. This role involves close collaboration with departments such as Programs, Admissions, Marketing, Faculty, and Events, ensuring visual consistency and maintaining high design standards across all public-facing and internal materials.

This is a full-time, long-term position for a creative professional eager to contribute meaningfully to a growing institution dedicated to advancing public policy discourse and practice in India.

Qualifications

• -Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an academic or think tank environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and PowerPoint.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both print and digital design.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

•  Develop visual communication materials including brochures, posters, reports, presentations, invitations, and print collateral.
• Design event branding and assets for conferences, guest lectures, public dialogues, and academic workshops.
•  Create visual templates for internal and external communications such as newsletters, academic calendars, and schedules.
•  Assist faculty and program teams in designing academic documents, student handbooks, and teaching materials.
• Coordinate with external vendors for print production and quality assurance.
• Maintain brand consistency across all platforms while adapting visual elements to evolving needs.
• Collaborate with Communications and Programs teams to ensure timely delivery of design assets.
