Job Role Overview:

This position is to become one of the founding members of the Equity research team and include considerable equity allocation. This candidate will help us in building the company and taking it to the next level. The candidate should be expert in deep equity research , momentum investing.

We are seeking a skilled Equity Research Analyst with Solid experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, valuation, and momentum investing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of companies, industries, and market trends to identify potential investment opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive financial models and valuation analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare detailed investment teasers and reports that outline investment opportunities and potential risks.
• Prepare draft reports (results update / event update / initiation) of companies and / or sectors (thematic / periodic products).
• Brainstorm potential stock ideas, themes for sector / company-specific research, and periodic products
• Expert in Technical analysis and Momentum Investing.
• Monitor and analyze financial news, earnings reports, and market developments to stay ahead of the latest industry trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA), MFA finance or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with 2-3 years of relevant experience in equity research.
• Proficiency in financial modeling with a strong understanding of business drivers and key financial components.
• Thorough knowledge of financial statements, including their impact on financial projections and decision-making.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex financial data effectively.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to articulate investment arguments and craft compelling investment theses.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NISM 15 certified.
• Hands-on equity research analyst who invests his money actively in the market.
