Are you an experienced accounting professional with strong exposure to US Accounting and US GAAP? We are looking for a Senior Accountant who can independently manage end-to-end accounting operations for our US-based clients.

🔎 Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling complete accounting functions including GL management, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, AP/AR oversight, and coordination for US tax compliance. You must be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

📌 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 :

• General Ledger & Reporting: Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and maintain GL accuracy.

• Month-End Close: Lead month-end/year-end close while adhering to strict US timelines.

• Reconciliations: Perform complex reconciliations for bank, credit card, and vendor accounts; resolve discrepancies.

• Financial Statements: Prepare accurate Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements under US GAAP.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee AP/AR cycles, aging reports, vendor payments, and collections.

• Tax Compliance: Support US tax filing preparation and coordinate with external CPA firms.

• Payroll Accounting: Record payroll entries and reconcile payroll reports (ADP, Paychex, Gusto).

• Process Improvement: Identify process gaps and recommend workflow enhancements.

🎓 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 :

• Education: B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent. CA Inter / CPA / ACCA / CMA preferred.

• Experience: 3–6 years total, with minimum 2+ 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐒 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.

• 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬:

Expertise in QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, and/or NetSuite

Strong Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, SUMIFS)

Familiarity with AP tools (Bill.com, Expensify) is a plus

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of US GAAP, US compliance & reporting standards

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (client-facing role)
