Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and implement zonal sales strategies aligned with company objectives for the
Ghee category
.
Appoint, develop, and manage
distributors, super stockists, and channel partners
across southern states.
Achieve monthly and quarterly
sales and volume targets
for the assigned zone.
Build and monitor the performance of the
Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives
in each territory.
Plan and execute
trade promotions, retail activations, and brand visibility programs
to drive market penetration.
Ensure
range selling
and improve outlet productivity through scientific distribution planning.
Establish strong
market coverage and secondary sales tracking systems
.
Develop and sustain
long-term relationships
with key distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners.
Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activities, pricing, and consumer trends in the Ghee & Dairy segment.
Coordinate with the
supply chain and depot teams
to ensure timely stock availability and delivery.
Submit periodic reports on performance metrics, regional insights, and market feedback to the Head Office.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate in Business / Marketing (MBA preferred).
812 years of sales experience
in FMCG / Dairy / Edible Oil / Ghee category.
Strong exposure and
hands-on working experience in South India markets
(Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana).
Proven track record in channel development and team management.
