Zonal Sales Head – Heat Pump DivisionLocation: Ahmedabad, GujaratReports To: Director – Sales & Marketing*Role Overview:*The Zonal Sales Head will drive sales growth, market expansion, and channel development for the Heat Pump product line within the assigned zone. This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and strong experience in HVAC / Renewable Energy / Heat Pump or related industries. The individual will be responsible for building and managing the sales team, driving key account relationships, and ensuring revenue and profitability targets are consistently achieved.*Key Responsibilities:*Sales Strategy & Execution • Develop and execute zonal sales plans aligned with national sales strategy. • Achieve sales, revenue, and margin targets for the heat pump product line. • Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and industry verticals.Channel & Dealer Network Management • Appoint, develop, and manage channel partners, distributors, and dealers. • Build long-term relationships with key channel partners to maximize sales. • Monitor channel performance and ensure partner profitability.Key Account Management • Develop strong relationships with architects, consultants, builders, OEMs, and large institutional buyers. • Drive project sales by influencing stakeholders and ensuring specifications. • Negotiate large deals and close high-value opportunities.Team Leadership • Lead, train, and motivate the zonal sales team to deliver targets. • Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and drive accountability. • Build a culture of performance, discipline, and customer focus.Market Development & Intelligence • Conduct competitor analysis and share market insights with senior leadership. • Organize customer meets, seminars, and technical presentations. • Provide inputs for product positioning, pricing, and marketing campaigns.Operational & Reporting • Track sales funnel, forecast accurately, and report zone performance regularly. • Ensure compliance with company policies, credit norms, and commercial processes. • Collaborate with service teams to ensure post-sales support and customer satisfaction.*Key Requirements:* • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business; MBA preferred. • 7+ years of sales experience in HVAC, Heat Pumps, Renewable Energy, or allied industries. • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a zonal / regional leadership role. • Strong network of channel partners, consultants, and institutional buyers. • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. • Ability to travel extensively within the zone.Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Sales volume and revenue achievement. • Dealer / channel partner growth and retention. • New business accounts acquired in the zone. • Gross margin and profitability from the zone. • Team performance and retention. • Customer satisfaction and repeat business.
