Job Description

The work you will do includes: Participating in business requirements discussions with client, onshore or offshore teams and attaining any clarifications to design test scenarios/cases/scripts Designing clean, efficient, and well-documented Test scenarios/cases/scripts and maintaining industry & client standards, based on business requirement analysis Provisioning the test data required to perform test execution Performing test execution, logging defects, tracking and triaging defects to closure, and documenting test results Individually driving the test effort (design/test data/execution/reviews) discussions with client/onshore teams Tracking and resolving dependencies that impact test activities Reporting and escalating any risks/issues which are blocking test activities Guiding team members in performing test activities and creating deliverables Skills / Project Experience: · 5-8 years’ experience in Worksoft certify automation tool with SAP · Expertise in developing and maintaining automation scripts, test cases and test data to support efficient and effective automation testing · Preferred certification in Worksoft · Should have good exposure working in SAP · Should have good understanding of STLC process and Testing phases · Good Communication and interpersonal skills, Good experience in agile/Waterfall methodology · Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools. · Experience in other test management tools like ALM, JIRA, etc. will be an added advantage Must Have: · 5 years of hands-on experience in · Hands-on experience in Manual/Functional Testing with functional expertise around any of the domains such as financial services, healthcare or telecom · Experience in analyzing business requirements and converting them into test scenarios / cases · Understanding of Test Strategy & Test Planning · Experience in different SDLC/STLC lifecycles and methodologies · Experience in different test phases (Functional, Integration, SIT and E2E Testing. etc.) · Experience with standardized QA Processes · Experience with QA specific tools for test management, test execution progress, defect tracking and triaging · Ability to perform estimation of test activities using quantitative methods · Experience in defect logging, tracking, and closing defects · Experience in test status reporting and managing a small team of 2-3 members (for tenured consultants) · Strong understanding of different software development life cycles (Agile, waterfall) and contemporary software quality assurance processes and automated tools · Good interpersonal and communication skills · Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries · Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools Good to Have: Experience/Understanding of Automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, TOSCA Experience/Understanding of Performance Testing Tools such as J Meter, Load Runner Experience in API Testing/ETL Testing Experience in writing SQL scripts Show more Show less
