Workshop Manager

Role Overview: The Workshop Manager is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, ensuring high-quality repairs, smooth workflow, customer satisfaction, and compliance with Royal Enfield service standards. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective team coordination. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the entire workshop team including technicians, service advisors, helpers, and washing staff. Ensure timely vehicle servicing, repairs, and delivery while maintaining quality standards. Monitor job allocation, productivity, and performance of technicians. Handle customer concerns related to service quality and resolve escalations professionally. Maintain workshop discipline, safety protocols, housekeeping, and equipment upkeep. Conduct daily meetings, technical training sessions, and skill development programs. Coordinate with the Parts Department for availability of spares and smooth workflow. Ensure proper usage of job cards, documentation, warranty claim procedures, and Royal Enfield SOPs. Track workshop KPIs such as TAT, LTR, productivity, labour revenue, and service satisfaction scores. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports and share with management. Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / ITI / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in an automobile workshop (Royal Enfield experience preferred). Strong technical knowledge of motorcycle servicing and repairs. Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills. Ability to manage workflow, handle pressure, and meet operational targets.
