Automotive Service Advisor

1. Customer Handling Greet customers and understand their vehicle issues or service requirements. Conduct vehicle walkaround inspection with the customer. Explain service recommendations, pricing, and timelines clearly. Provide transparent updates on job status, delays, or additional repairs. 2. Job Card Preparation & Documentation Create accurate job cards with customer complaints and technician notes. Ensure correct documentation, customer approval, and service category selection. Maintain records for warranty, free service, and paid service. 3. Workshop Coordination Assign jobs to technicians based on skill and availability. Ensure accurate communication of customer needs to the workshop team. Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion. 4. Service Upselling & Customer Experience Recommend additional services, AMC, accessories, and value-added products. Promote safety-related repairs and genuine spare parts. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction (CSI). 5. Delivery Process Inspect the vehicle before delivery to ensure work completion and quality. Explain the work done, parts changed, and billing to the customer. Handle customer queries professionally and ensure smooth delivery. 6. Complaint Resolution Address customer issues promptly and escalate complex cases to the Service Manager. Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions. 7. Reporting & Compliance Prepare daily service reports and follow-ups. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and OEM standards.
