Job responsibilities of Technician • Greet customers when they arrive and take a detailed history of vehicle performance or mechanical failure • Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer • Provide customers with detailed estimates for repairs and replacements and obtain signature approval prior to commencing work • Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and repair estimate • Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist • Describe vehicle’s condition to customer and answer any follow-up questions • File appropriate documentation on each repair

ob Responsibilities of Service advisor LOCATION: Chennai JOB TYPE: Full-time KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Greet customers when they arrive at the parts and service centre and direct them to an available technician. * Consult with a technician about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to repairs as required by the customer. * Provide customers with in-depth information about available aftermarket and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part options. * Answer questions about service outcomes (after consulting with a technician if necessary) . * Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings. * Help customers decide between trading in a car and fixing it through our shop. * Manage and oversee the service centre’s workflow and scheduling. * Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up.
