We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Workshop Manager to oversee our operations and lead our team in delivering exceptional service. This role requires a proactive approach to managing staff, inventory, and customer relations while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

• Supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring high standards of customer service and efficiency.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to enhance team performance.
• Oversee inventory management, including purchasing and stock control to maintain optimal levels.
• Implement effective sales strategies and merchandising techniques to maximize revenue.
• Conduct employee orientations and performance evaluations to promote professional growth.
• Handle payroll processing and bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all aspects of workshop management.
• Maintain effective communication with team members to facilitate collaboration and resolve issues promptly.
• Utilize retail math for pricing strategies, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Foster a positive customer experience through excellent service, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints.

Skills

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
• Proficiency in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Experience in payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, and cash handling.
• Proven supervisory experience in retail sales or workshop environments.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail for inventory control and merchandising.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail math principles for accurate transactions and reporting.
