Workday Test Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Test Manager to lead testing efforts across large-scale Workday implementations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ERP/HCM systems, test strategy, and stakeholder management, ensuring robust quality assurance across all Workday modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Test Leadership

Define and execute comprehensive test strategies for Workday implementations, including HCM, Payroll, Financials, and Talent modules.

Lead testing phases including Unit, Integration, System, Regression, UAT, and End-to-End testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing with business and technical requirements.

Planning & Execution Test

Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business process documentation and configuration.

Manage test environments, data staging, and execution across global teams.

Oversee defect management and ensure timely resolution through coordination with configuration and vendor teams.

Automation & Tools

Implement and manage test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Test, Selenium, JIRA, HP ALM).

Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and support agile delivery models.

Reporting & Governance

Provide regular updates to senior leadership through dashboards, metrics, and status reports.

Facilitate test review meetings and ensure compliance with QA standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

16+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 8 years in Workday testing and QA leadership.

Strong understanding of Workday architecture, business processes, and integrations.

Experience with global rollouts and multi-country implementations.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Workday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials) are highly desirable.
