Role Description
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Payroll (implementation and configuration).
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance regulations, and payroll tax laws.
  • Experience with Workday HCM and other related modules (Time Tracking, Benefits, etc.) is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Workday Certification in Payroll is a must.
Skills
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Workday Payroll solutions with Absence and Time Tracking experience.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand payroll requirements and translate them into system configurations.
  • Provide expert advice on best practices for payroll processing and ensure that Workday Payroll aligns with organizational and legal requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Manage system integrations related to payroll, including time tracking, benefits, and third-party systems.
  • Support testing, system upgrades, and releases to ensure continuous optimization of Workday Payroll functionality.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users, ensuring payroll processes are efficient and compliant.
  • Work with external vendors, auditors, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Participate in the payroll cycle, including preparation, processing, and reporting of payroll data.
  • Execution of payroll parallel testing and other testing cycles.
  • Converted worker payroll data from legacy systems into Workday.
