Job Description



Own the Workday benefits module, overseeing:


  • Benefits Configuration and Implementation

    : Configure and maintain benefits plans (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.) within Workday based on the requirements. Configure eligibility rules, open enrollment processes, and life event changes (marriage, birth, etc.). Ensure employees can easily make benefits selections and manage their choices through Workday.
  • Open Enrollment Management:

    Set up and manage open enrollment periods, workflows, and configurations. Provide guidance to employees during open enrollment, ensuring they can make informed decisions about their benefits.
  • Vendor Management:

    Work closely with benefits vendors and insurance carriers to ensure smooth data integration and resolve any issues related to benefits administration.


Partner with business stakeholders to develop a Workday benefits module optimization roadmap (Front door requests / Project intakes and Backlog management) by understanding pain points, prioritize requirements and opportunities to improve process efficiency and scalability.


Leverage mastery level knowledge to lead efforts (hands on) to deliver complex initiatives/ projects/ module enhancements identified in the Workday benefits optimization roadmap.


Release management:


  • Manage module specific sprint planning and deliverables.
  • Manage half yearly Workday release enhancements (R1 and R2)


Manage/ Triage Service NAB tickets for all benefits-related issues, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives ensuring all tickets are properly documented, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.


Serve as the go to person for Workday benefits inquiries and provide training to benefits partners, managers, and other stakeholders on how to use the benefits module in Workday effectively.


Lead testing efforts within P&C Systems ensuring smooth user acceptance testing (UAT) and Integrated testing.


Stay up to date with Workday updates, releases, and industry best practices to enhance system capabilities.


Mentor and guide junior colleagues for their role in configuration and testing.



Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 6 to 9 years’ Workday experience with expertise in

  • Must be

    Workday Pro Benefits certified

    . Certification in other module will be an added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot Workday technical issues.
