Job Description

Job Summary:

The BOH Manager is responsible for the efficient and smooth functioning of all back-of-house operations in a fashion retail store. This includes inventory management, stockroom organization, inward/outward logistics, stock audits, and supporting the front-of-house team in product availability and replenishment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Stockroom Management

  • Oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of merchandise.
  • Ensure timely and accurate inwarding of stock (GRN/stock receipts).
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe stockroom.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory.
  • Ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) is followed to manage stock rotation.
  • Track stock damages and coordinate RTV (Return to Vendor) processes.

Logistics & Coordination

  • Coordinate with central warehouse and vendors for stock movements.
  • Supervise all inward and outward documentation and ensure proper filing.
  • Monitor daily stock movements and report discrepancies promptly.

System & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate data entry in POS/ERP systems for all stock transactions.
  • Adhere to all company SOPs related to BOH operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and loss prevention.

Team Management

  • Train, guide, and supervise BOH staff (stock boys, warehouse assistants).
  • Allocate work schedules and tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained.

Support to Front-of-House (FOH)

  • Coordinate with sales team for timely stock replenishment on the floor.
  • Support new launches, VM setups, and sales events with accurate stock planning.
  • Ensure availability of fast-moving and size-wise merchandise on the floor.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in BOH/warehouse/store operations.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and processes.
  • Proficient in SAP,MS Excel and POS/ERP systems.
  • Good communication and team leadership skills.
  • Physically fit and able to manage stock movement activities.

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Stock accuracy & shrinkage control
  • Timely inwarding and dispatch
  • BOH cleanliness & safety audits
  • Floor replenishment TAT (Turnaround Time)
  • Compliance with SOPs and documentation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
