Warehouse Manager

A Warehouse Manager in your auto spare parts business will oversee all warehouse operations for a 10,000 sq ft facility, with strong focus on packaging-based verification, export-standard packing, visual quality checks, and effective communication and people management. Good communication skills, team handling ability, and willingness to learn are as important as technical warehouse experience, and full training will be provided.

Job summary

The Warehouse Manager will manage end-to-end operations of the auto spare parts warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and reporting within a 10,000 sq ft area. The role demands strong attention to packaging accuracy, export-compliant packing and palletization, basic quality inspection, and clear communication with internal teams, vendors, and warehouse staff.​

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse activities: inward, storage, order processing, packing, dispatch, housekeeping, and safety for the entire 10,000 sq ft warehouse.​
• Implement packaging-based inward and outward verification, ensuring quantities and items match documents and preparing clear daily/weekly discrepancy reports.​
• Supervise visual quality inspection of received and outbound parts for damage, wrong item, incorrect labeling, and escalate non-conformities with proper documentation.​
• Plan and execute export-standard packing and palletization (cartons, cushioning, strapping, wrapping, labeling, and load planning) as per customer and country requirements.​
• Maintain accurate inventory in WMS/ERP, run cycle counts and stock audits, and communicate variances and corrective actions to management.​
• Coordinate professionally with purchase, sales, logistics, and export-documentation teams to align dispatch plans, resolve issues, and ensure on-time shipments.​
• Lead, schedule, and supervise storekeepers, packers, and loaders; handle basic conflict resolution and motivate the team to meet daily targets.​

Skills and requirements

• Proven experience managing a warehouse or store, preferably with responsibility for a 5,000–10,000 sq ft facility or larger.​
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to give clear instructions, write simple reports/emails, and coordinate with internal departments and transporters.​
• Good people skills: ability to supervise a team, delegate work, provide feedback, handle attendance/discipline issues fairly, and build a cooperative work environment.​
• Knowledge of receiving, packing, dispatch, inventory control, and basic quality inspection; familiarity with export packing and palletization is a plus (training will be provided).​
• Comfort with basic computer use (email, Excel, WMS/ERP).​
• Auto spare parts knowledge is not mandatory but will be considered an advantage.

• Training will be provided on product range, packaging-based verification, visual inspection checklists, export packing standards, and internal software/WMS

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
