Warehouse Manager

As a Dispatch Operations Supervisor, your role involves overseeing and managing all activities related to dispatch operations. This includes supervising dispatch staff, coordinating with various departments, planning delivery routes, monitoring inventory levels, ensuring quality control, managing documentation, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise Dispatch Operations: Oversee scheduling, routing, and tracking of shipments. - Manage Staff: Supervise dispatch staff, assign tasks, and ensure adherence to processes. - Coordinate with Departments: Work with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams for efficient operations. - Plan Routes: Optimize delivery routes considering distance, traffic, and priorities. - Monitor Inventory: Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure product availability. - Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure proper packaging and binning of goods. - Manage Documentation: Handle dispatch documents, invoices, and receipts accurately. - Customer Service: Address inquiries and concerns regarding delivery schedules and tracking information. Qualifications / Skills: - Education: Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in relevant field advantageous. - Experience: Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations desirable. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and ability to use dispatch software and TMS. - Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for effective coordination. - Organisational Skills: Prioritise tasks, manage responsibilities, and ensure accuracy. - Problem-Solving Abilities: Make quick decisions under pressure and implement effective solutions. - Leadership and Team Management: Lead and coordinate a team for efficient service delivery. - Adaptability: Willingness to work in changing circumstances and schedules. - Customer Focus: Commitment to meeting customer needs and maintaining service quality.
