Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Management:

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, including assigning daily tasks and managing shift schedules.
• Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address any disciplinary issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate job expectations, goals, and company policies to the team.

2. Warehouse Operations:

• Oversee all daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory control.
• Ensure the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory transactions.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce errors.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time shipments, order accuracy, and productivity levels.

3. Inventory Control:

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or other relevant software.
• Plan and oversee regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of all products to prevent damage or spoilage.

4. Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce all company safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse and equipment to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensure all team members are properly trained on the safe operation of equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization (5S) throughout the warehouse.

5. Communication & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
• Communicate with carriers and transportation providers to coordinate shipments and resolve delivery issues.
• Generate and analyze reports on warehouse activities, productivity, and performance for senior management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
