Job Brief
The incumbent will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding employees, all while factoring in the long-term goals of the organization. Essentially, the role is to help grow the talent in the company by finding and nurturing the most suitable people to contribute to the companys future success. Roles and Responsibilities • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
• Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions. • Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates. • Drafts recruitment advertisements on specialist job boards, social media and any other relevant channels for open positions. • Selects placement agencies to assist with recruitment process for critical positions. • Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications. • Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers. • Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications. • Vets potential employees’ credentials. • Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates. • Builds a candidate pool to ensure a solid pipeline of qualified candidates • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace. • Ensure all information is captured in Horizon and periodic reports are generated from this application and shared as an update to relevant stakeholders. • Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs. • Network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand and ensure we attract the best professionals • Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Bachelor/Master’s degree in related human resources field is preferred • At least 1 - 4 years of experience in a talent acquisition or similar role (volume hiring). • Hiring experience in the US Mortgage industry is essential. • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods. • Experience using job portals, social media, CV databases, and professional networks to source quality candidates. • It’s a challenging, fast-moving candidate-driven market, and the ideal candidate should be highly motivated and tenacious enough to keep up with the pace. • Should be willing to learn and keep up to date with the latest technological developments that influence our hiring needs. • Should have the expertise and the ability to understand and explain job requirements for all roles • Strong tenacity and ability to build a solid network • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g. Teams, Zoom, Google Hangouts) • Excellent interpersonal skills and should be a good team player • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent stakeholder management skills. • Proficient with complete Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
