Job Description

Role Summary

The Vice President – Sales will be responsible for leading the brand’s overall sales strategy across direct-to-consumer (DTC), e-commerce marketplaces, retail, and distribution. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the B2C landscape, customer behavior, and revenue optimization. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in scaling consumer brands and building high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets across online and offline channels.
  • Channel Expansion & Management:

Lead sales efforts across DTC (website), marketplaces (e.g., Nykaa, Amazon), modern trade, general trade, and retail partnerships.

  • P&L Ownership:

Own the sales P&L, forecast revenues, manage budgets, and ensure profitability across channels.Build and lead a results-driven sales team with a clear focus on performance, growth, and accountability.Plan and execute go-to-market sales plans for new product launches, and ensure proper distribution and visibility.Expand the brand’s presence in key retail formats – including modern trade and beauty-focused offline stores.Identify and close key partnerships that can unlock new customer segments and drive volume sales.Track KPIs including sell-through rates, channel performance, returns, margins, and inventory flow.Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of experience in sales leadership roles in B2C, ideally within skincare, beauty, personal care, or FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of DTC, e-commerce marketplaces, offline retail, and distribution.
  • Proven experience managing large sales targets and high-performing teams.
  • Deep network within retail and distribution channels is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in high-growth environments or scaling startups is a strong advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
