Volunteer Coordinator

About The Opportunity

• Lead volunteer lifecycle management: recruit, screen, onboard, schedule, and offboard volunteers for on-site programs.
• Operate and maintain volunteer management systems to track availability, assignments, hours, and compliance documentation.
• Design and run structured onboarding, training sessions, and refresher workshops to ensure volunteers meet program standards and safety protocols.
• Coordinate logistics for community events and field activities, including rostering, material distribution, site setup, and on-site supervision.
• Monitor volunteer performance and program KPIs; prepare weekly/monthly reports and recommend improvements to boost retention and impact.
• Build relationships with local partners, schools, and community stakeholders to amplify outreach and secure reliable volunteer pipelines.

Additional Qualifications

• Comfortable working in diverse field locations across India and flexible with travel and varied work hours.
• Experience managing background screening, safeguarding checks, or compliance documentation preferred.
