Position Summary

The Video Editor will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end production of video content, combining technical expertise, creative storytelling, and AI-driven workflows. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about visual storytelling, cutting-edge editing techniques, and using emerging AI tools to enhance production efficiency.

The position requires on-site presence at our Kengeri, Bangalore office. While hybrid flexibility may be available for select projects, candidates must be willing to relocate or commute daily.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production & Editing

• Edit, assemble, and refine raw video footage into high-quality outputs for:
• Short-form content: Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
• Long-form content: YouTube videos, tutorials, webinars, podcasts
• Commercials, promotional campaigns, and brand films
• Corporate and product videos
• Apply color correction, color grading, sound design, transitions, and motion graphics
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines, storytelling objectives, and campaign goals

AI-Powered Workflow Integration

• Utilize AI tools for video production efficiency and creative enhancement:
• Auto-subtitling, transcription, and translation
• AI-generated voiceovers and dubbing
• Background replacement, cleanup, and upscaling
• AI-assisted B-roll, motion graphics, and visual effects
• Stay updated on emerging AI tools and implement best practices for workflow optimization

Collaboration & Creative Input

• Work closely with creative leads, designers, content writers, and marketing managers to ensure videos meet client objectives
• Participate in pre-production and brainstorming sessions, providing creative input
• Present work to internal teams and stakeholders for feedback and revisions

Project & File Management

• Maintain an organized system for digital assets, naming conventions, and version control
• Ensure timely delivery of multiple projects simultaneously
• Track project progress and manage deadlines effectively

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Skilled in DaVinci Resolve for advanced editing and color grading
• Hands-on knowledge of AI-powered tools for video and audio production
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, export settings, and platform-specific requirements
• Basic sound design, audio mixing, and synchronization

Creative Skills

• Strong visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative skills
• Ability to create content for multiple platforms and formats
• Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects
• Eye for detail, color, composition, and branding

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Animation, or related fields (equivalent professional experience considered)
• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience (agency, production house, or media organization preferred)
• Portfolio/showreel demonstrating versatility across short-form, long-form, and commercial content
• Familiarity with 3D animation software (Blender, Cinema4D) is a plus
• Understanding of digital marketing strategies and video’s role in engagement and conversion

Work Location Details

• Location: Kengeri, Bangalore – 560060
• Schedule: 6 days/week, on-site
• Hybrid Option: Available for select projects after probation
• Requirement: Candidate must be willing to relocate or commute to office
