Video Developer

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both AI video tools and traditional editing software, with a strong understanding of how to structure, sequence, and enhance video to support instructional messaging. You should be confident selecting and customizing AI avatars, managing multilingual voiceovers, and applying production techniques that ensure clarity, pacing, and consistency. This role requires both technical precision and creative judgment, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across instructional and design teams in a fast-paced, quality driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee implementation of AI powered learning tools that support learning objectives and align with platform capabilities
• Evaluate and select tools and models based on scalability, cost efficiency, security, and performance
• Lead architecture of education focused LLM based systems and workflows
• Prototype and test AI driven educational experiences including content generation, tutoring agents, or adaptive feedback mechanisms
• Define protocols and processes to support AI reliability, contextual relevance, and data security
• Stay current on latest developments in model interaction protocols such as MCP and RAG
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and learning design teams to integrate AI into core user experiences
• Translate business and educational requirements into robust technical solutions that perform at scale

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency with AI video platforms Runway, Hour One, HeyGen, and Colossyan
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Motion graphics or animation experience for enhancing educational content is strongly preferred
• Experience producing videos for education, e-learning, or instructional use
• Familiarity with ESL content or multilingual video production workflows is a plus
• Strong visual storytelling skills and the ability to transform scripts into clear, engaging video sequences
• Excellent attention to detail for maintaining visual consistency, pacing, and clarity
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet production deadlines
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative, remote team environment

Physical Requirements

This is a remote, computer-based role. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a desk, as well as regular use of a computer, mouse, and keyboard.

Additional Information

• This is a contracted position. All work is project based and does not constitute an offer of employment
• Contractors are responsible for providing their own computer, internet access, and working environment. Access to required software will be provided by Our English Group, LLC
• Compensation and scope of work will be outlined in a separate contractor agreement
• Compensation will be processed through Rippling, with currency and payment preferences set up based on contractor onboarding details
•  Contractors are responsible for complying with any applicable tax or invoicing requirements in India
• All work produced is the property of Our English Group, LLC and may not be used or distributed without written permission
• Selected applicants may be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement and/or independent contractor agreement prior to starting work
• Contractors may be required to complete basic data security training and adhere to Our English Group, LLC confidentiality and content protection standards
