About the Role

We’re building a brand-first Moving Image division—one that blends storytelling, insight, and cultural relevance across formats and platforms. From short-form social content to high-quality branded films, our ambition is to create work that delivers both creatively and commercially.

Business & P&L Lead

You’ll work directly with the Managing Partner and collaborate closely with the heads of Creative and Planning to turn great storytelling into a repeatable, profitable model.

This is a role for someone who’s as comfortable in a pitch room as they are in a budget sheet. Someone who can see audience trends before they show up in reports, understands platform shifts, and thrives in fast-moving environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own & Drive the P&L:

    Lead revenue planning, cost control, and margin optimization across all lines of business—branded films, original IPs, social content, and new formats.
  • Lead Business Growth:

    Define and drive strategic growth goals—build monetization streams (brand partnerships, ad-share, syndication), pursue new categories, and identify scalable IP opportunities.
  • Operational Stewardship:

    Build ways of working across content development, production, delivery, and analytics that balance creative ambition with commercial efficiency.
  • Client & Platform Partnership:

    Lead strategic relationships with brands and platforms—ensuring retention, upsell, and alignment with storytelling ambition.
  • Team Leadership:

    Mentor and manage a multi-disciplinary team across business operations, project management, delivery, and creative ops.
  • Creative Collaboration:

    Work with Creative and Planning heads to ensure storytelling is insight-led, repeatable, and aligned with brand goals and audience data.
  • Insights & Trends:

    Stay ahead of audience, platform, and cultural trends to guide content and business decision-making.


Ideal Candidate Profile

You may have led a modern content studio, been part of a fast-growing branded content engine, or built a digital-first platform team. What matters most: you understand how creative stories get made, scaled, and monetized in today’s media ecosystem.


Your Strengths:

  • You’ve led a content business end-to-end, including monetization, audience development, partnerships, and team operations.
  • You thrive at the intersection of creative and commercial—shaping IPs, campaign models, or content pipelines that are both creatively sticky and financially sharp.
  • You build systems where creators can thrive—processes, formats, and playbooks that elevate storytelling, not dilute it.
  • You understand what makes audiences click—and how to shape content that drives real engagement, sentiment, and scale.


Must-Have Experience

  • 10–14 years across content strategy, creative ops, or business leadership roles in agencies, platforms, or digital studios.
  • Proven P&L ownership with a strong track record of growth and operational excellence.
  • Experience working across branded storytelling, original IP, and social-first content.
  • Deep platform knowledge—YouTube, Meta, Snap, OTT—and insight into what drives performance and monetization.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams across creative and business functions.


Nice to Have

  • Built or scaled content-led verticals, teams, or IPs from the ground up
  • Worked across both brand storytelling and original entertainment formats
  • Familiarity with creator ecosystems, syndication, or international partnerships
  • Recognized for driving innovation in audience-first storytelling or branded content strategy
