Role Overview

Vice President – Investments

Key Responsibilities

Deal Sourcing:

• Develop and maintain a strong network with entrepreneurs, bankers, advisors, and industry leaders
• Proactively source proprietary and intermediated deal flow across target sectors

Investment Evaluation:

• Lead due diligence across commercial, financial, operational, and legal dimensions
• Build robust financial models and conduct valuation analysis
• Prepare investment memos and present to the Investment Committee

Execution:

• Drive transaction structuring, negotiations, and documentation with legal, tax, and other advisors
• Manage closing process end-to-end

Portfolio Management:

• Partner with portfolio company leadership on strategy, growth initiatives, governance, and follow-on financing
• Track operating and financial performance, identifying areas of improvement

Team Leadership:

• Mentor Associates/Analysts on deal execution, modelling, and research
• Contribute to strengthening firm culture and investment processes

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in

  venture capital, growth equity,

  private equity or investment banking

  with a strong deal execution track record
• Strong analytical, financial modelling and valuation skills
• Ability to evaluate management teams and business models critically
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent preferred
