Join us and be part of something extraordinary.We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Full-Stack Engineer to join our TSG Discovery Services team. This role is in Chennai.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

As a full stack developer, you will join the Discovery Service team to provide support for the platform and you will be responsible for developing automation across the core infrastructure stack – network, storage, compute, database. Candidate will need to know how software is built, configured, and deployed. Write services, plugins, and agents. Our application runs on BNYM App Engine, a platform as a service that schedules and runs containerized applications on Virtual Machines across our data centers. Need to understand middleware and infrastructure and provide the tools and services that allow developers to run their applications. Candidate should have experience in working with mission critical systems. Be an experienced Java Developer with working knowledge of Spring Boot, SDLC and System Development Lifecycle and a Solid foundation in networking, load balancing and DNS concepts. Also Angular for front end development, with a strong understanding of CSS/SCSS. You will be responsible for development via the development lifecycle

• Develop automation across the core infrastructure stack – network, storage, compute, database
• Know how software is built, configured, and deployed using Ansible, Terraform, Java and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. As well as writing services, plugins, and agents.
• Develop API/web-based applications and reporting for internal uses
• Develop and maintain internal/external API integrations
• Investigate and resolve production issues, drive root-cause analysis and deliver resilient fixes.
• Develop clear runbooks, documentation and operational procedures.
• Partner with application teams to translate requirements into robust platform capabilities
  

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 10 – 14 years of experience in software development required
• Hands-on full-stack development experience (backend services/APIs and front-end components)
• Proficiency in Java, Angular and Python
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, SDLC and System Development Lifecycle and a Solid foundation in networking, load balancing and DNS concepts
