Job Summary:

The candidate will ensure full adherence to manage IRDAI compliances, Mock inspection, Circular implementation and supporting business in compliance assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

•Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s compliance framework, policies, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

•Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines from regulatory bodies such as IRDAI and other relevant authorities.

•Lead risk assessments and compliance audits to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.

•Collaborate with business units, legal, risk management, and other departments to ensure integrated compliance processes and controls.

•Provide expert advice and training to employees and management on compliance matters and regulatory changes.

•Oversee investigations into compliance breaches and coordinate with regulators during inspections and audits.

•Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies in a timely and accurate manner.

•Drive a culture of compliance and ethical conduct throughout the organization.

•Stay updated on regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company’s operations.

•Manage and mentor the compliance team, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

•Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CCEP, CAMS, ACAMS) preferred or CA / CS

•12 years + experience in compliance within the insurance or financial services sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

•In-depth knowledge of life insurance regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices.

•Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as IRDAI guidelines, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Data Protection laws.

•Proven track record in managing compliance risks and leading regulatory inspections.

•Ability to influence and build relationships with senior leadership and regulators.

•High integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
