About The Team & Business Line
The Vice President – Business Manager (CFS OPS) will be a key member in the Business management office supporting CFS ops in the execution of the vision and strategic goals of the division. In this role, the incumbent will project-manage multiple initiatives and set up robust governance for all documentation and play a pivotal role in internal communication needs of the team. The scope for the business manager encompasses multiple Lines of Business (LOB). The VP manages relationships with key stakeholders for each department as well as with indirect stakeholders (i.e. Risk, Finance, Client Services, Human Resources)
Your Role
- Work with Chief of staff and Head of Ops to shape and drive strategic priorities
- Partner with LOB leaders to align initiatives with CFS ops vision and long-term goals
- Anticipate risks and opportunities, distilling complex inputs into clear recommendations
- Take notes, track follow-ups, and drive accountability on team goals and to-dos from key meetings
- Act as a liaison between the leadership, team members, and business stakeholders
- Prepare for and help run key internal and external content, including COE meetings, strategy discussions, and stakeholder reviews
- Draft and maintain briefing decks, communication materials, and tailored talking points
- Ensure consistent messaging and clarity in cascading CFS ops priorities
- Monitor and manage critical communications, ensuring timely responses and alignment with priorities
- Build a strong function that drives coordination, accountability, and execution discipline
- Create scalable processes to ensure initiatives and meetings are well-prepared
- Support CFS ops leadership engagement in company forums through preparation and coordination
About You
- ∙ 7-10+ years of experience in strategic, management, or similar roles
- ∙ Proven ability to partner with and influence senior leaders
- ∙ People leadership experience, including mentoring team members
- ∙ Strong track record of driving complex, cross-functional initiatives
- ∙ Exceptional communication skills—written, verbal, and presentation
- ∙ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- ∙ Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with data analysis tools
