Vice President, Business Development, Sales &
Product Strategy

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
To drive revenue growth, shape product direction, and establish strategic partnerships that position the company as a leader in risk management software solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Sales & Revenue GrowthDevelop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.Identify high-value customer segments and verticals to prioritize sales efforts.Lead negotiations and close large, complex enterprise deals.Business DevelopmentBuild and maintain relationships with enterprise clients, channel partners, and strategic alliances.Identify new market opportunities and assess emerging trends in risk management and compliance technology.Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns that drive lead generation and brand positioning.Product Direction & DevelopmentAct as a bridge between customers and product teams to align software development with market needs.Gather and analyze customer feedback, market research, and competitive insights to inform product enhancements.Contribute to product roadmaps by prioritizing features and functionalities based on client and market requirements.Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and product management teams to ensure timely delivery of product improvements.Customer Relationship ManagementServe as a trusted advisor to key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.Address customer concerns and ensure a smooth handover to customer success teams post-sale.Advocate for long-term client relationships to drive renewals and upsells.Team LeadershipLead and mentor teamsEstablish performance metrics and foster a results-driven, innovative culture.Conduct training to improve team knowledge of the product and sales strategies.Market Intelligence & StrategyMonitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to adapt business and product strategies.Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in the risk management software market.Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership for entering new markets or enhancing product offerings.Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare and present detailed sales and product performance reports, including forecasts and pipeline updates.Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across sales, business development, and product metrics.

Qualifications
