Location: Near Hopes, Coimbatore

The Vendor Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing relationships with vendors and suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs. This role ensures that quality goods and services are sourced cost-effectively and delivered in a timely manner, while also negotiating favorable terms and maintaining long-term supplier relationships.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Vendor Identification & Evaluation

• Research, identify, and evaluate new vendors based on price, quality, service, support, availability, and reliability.
• Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and background verifications.

Supplier Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors.
• Act as the main point of contact between the company and vendors.
• Resolve issues related to deliveries, quality, or payments.

Negotiation & Contract Management

• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to obtain the best value.
• Draft, review, and manage vendor contracts and service agreements.

Procurement Strategy Execution

• Support procurement planning aligned with business needs and cost-saving goals.
• Collaborate with internal departments (R&D, production, finance) to understand procurement requirements.

Cost Optimization

• Analyze market trends and vendor pricing to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Continuously explore alternative sourcing options to optimize costs.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate supplier records, agreements, certifications, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, sourcing outcomes, and spend analysis.
• Track key metrics such as lead times, cost savings, and supplier delivery performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and tools.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
