Vendor Sourcing Specialist

The Vendor Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing relationships with vendors and suppliers to meet the company's procurement needs. You will research, identify, and evaluate new vendors based on various factors such as price, quality, service, support, availability, and reliability. Additionally, you will conduct supplier assessments, audits, and background verifications to ensure the selection of high-quality vendors. In this role, you will build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors, acting as the main point of contact between the company and suppliers. You will negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to obtain the best value and draft, review, and manage vendor contracts and service agreements. Collaboration with internal departments such as R&D, production, and finance to understand procurement requirements and support procurement planning aligned with business needs and cost-saving goals is essential. You will analyze market trends and vendor pricing to identify opportunities for cost reduction and continuously explore alternative sourcing options to optimize costs. Maintaining accurate supplier records, agreements, certifications, and performance metrics, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements are key responsibilities. You will also prepare regular reports on vendor performance, sourcing outcomes, and spend analysis, tracking metrics such as lead times, cost savings, and supplier delivery performance. The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management. Strong negotiation and communication skills, knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and tools, an analytical mindset with attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines are required.
