Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing, field-savvy Sales Manager to drive software adoption among apparel manufacturers. You will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, selling digitization solutions, and supporting India's manufacturing transformation. This is a field-intensive B2B role involving lead nurturing, demos, ROI storytelling, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
•Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead qualification, solution recommendation, demo, pricing, and closure.
Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets (new accounts, module sales, deal closures)
•Actively pursue and engage garment/textile manufacturers, particularly factory owners and Department Heads.
•Conduct effective in-person and virtual demos using mobile tools; communicate ROI clearly and convincingly.
•Build relationships and recommend suitable plug-and-play software modules.
•Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure deal closure.
•Manage client onboarding and maintain ongoing client relationships for retention and upsell.
•Meet or exceed sales targets consistently; report activity through CRM and internal systems.
•Represent BlueKaktus at local trade shows, vendor meetings, and digital webinars.
Qualifications
•2–5 years in B2B sales. Candidates from SaaS, ERP, garment-tech sales backgrounds are strongly preferred.
•Understanding garment/textile manufacturing and factory operations is a strong plus.
•Educational background from NIFT or similar institutions is a plus, but not mandatory. We value candidates with proven experience in domain-specific sales
•Must be fluent in the local regional language and proficient in English.
•Hands-on with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot), mobile demo platforms, and presentations.
•Strong in consultative/solution selling
•Strong relationship-building and follow-up discipline
