UX Writer

The Role

As a UX Writer at Restroworks, you will be the voice of our product. You will play a critical role in shaping the user experience by crafting clear, concise, and intuitive copy that helps our users navigate our powerful and comprehensive platform. You will transform complex operational tasks into simple, accessible, and engaging interactions. Your words will be instrumental in maintaining our industry-leading customer satisfaction and ensuring our technology feels less like a tool and more like a trusted partner for restaurant operators worldwide.

What You'll Do

• 
  Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to create a cohesive and intuitive user experience.

• 
  Craft compelling UI copy: Write and refine text for all user-facing touchpoints, including UI components, onboarding flows, error messages, instructional content, and in-app notifications.

• 
  Define and maintain our voice: Develop and champion the Restroworks product voice and tone guidelines to ensure consistency across our entire platform, including upcoming innovations like the RestroNext CX Suite.

• 
  Simplify complexity: Translate complex restaurant operations and technical functionalities into simple, human-centered language that is easily understood by a diverse, global audience.

• 
  Advocate for the user: Use data, user research, and empathy to make content decisions that meet the real-world needs of restaurant staff, managers, and owners.

• 
  Contribute to product strategy: Actively participate in the design process, offering a content-first perspective to solve user problems and improve product usability.

• 
  Familiarity with design tools (like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Notion, Miro).

Requirements

• You have 2+ years of proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Strategist, or a similar role, preferably within a B2B SaaS or Technologies company.

• 
  You have a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your ability to write for complex digital products and solve user problems with words.

• 
  You are an exceptional writer, editor, and communicator with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of grammar, tone, and style.

• 
  You are a natural collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage feedback from multiple stakeholders.

• 
  You are deeply empathetic and passionate about creating user-centered experiences.

• 
  Additional: You have experience in the restaurant, food-tech, or hospitality Tech Industry.
