UX Lead

Job Description

Role Overview We’re looking for a UX Lead with 3–5 years of experience to drive the user experience strategy across our mobile app, web platform, and service journeys. This is a high-ownership role for someone who’s ready to take the leap from being a strong individual contributor to leading UX at a product-first company. You'll work closely with product, tech, and leadership to shape intuitive, human-centred experiences that improve financial outcomes for our users. Responsibilities UX Strategy & Design Own the user journey end-to-end for key product experiences: on-boarding, credit insights, debt resolution, and customer support. Turn ambiguous product goals into clean, usable, and friction less experiences. Work closely with PMs to define problems and explore multiple solution directions. Execution & Prototyping Create wireframes, flows, low-to-high fidelity prototypes using Figma or equivalent. Partner with developers to ensure high-quality implementation. Evolve our design system and patterns with attention to scalability and consistency. User Research & Feedback Loops Conduct lightweight user research, usability tests, and A/B experiments. Leverage both qualitative insights and product analytics to inform design iterations. Cross-functional Collaboration Communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders. Collaborate with customer success and operations to map offline journeys into product flows. Contribute to a design-first culture within the company. What We're Looking For 3–5 years of experience designing for consumer-facing digital products. Portfolio demonstrating strong UX thinking, problem-solving, and clean execution. Ability to work across the design spectrum — from information architecture to UI polish. Experience designing for Indian consumers across digital literacy levels is a plus. Hands-on with Figma and comfortable with rapid prototyping and iteration. Educational Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field. Bootcamp grads or self-taught designers with a strong portfolio and problem-solving mindset are welcome. A Master’s degree is not necessary but considered a plus.
