The role:

• This role interfaces with - User researchers, UX designers, copy writers, product managers and, of course, other visual designers.
• Creating engaging UI designs with attractive features, enticing visuals, to support business objectives.
• Understand design briefs, and conceptualize UI designs/ mood boards.
• Strong expertise in Figma (components, auto-layout, design system, variables, tokens, libraries).
• Solid understanding of design tokens, responsive grids, accessibility, typography, and color theory.
• Develop responsive designs (fonts, layouts, colors, aesthetics) in close coordination with the front-end developers.
• Troubleshooting user problems to overcome challenges that a UI intervention may solve.

Skills we are looking for:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in product design. A strong online portfolio is a must.
• Experience working with design systems at scale (for consumer apps or e-commerce).
• Clear and precise communication skills.
• Experience of working with product designers and product managers.
• Keen eye for the details of color balance, shapes, symmetries, and a sense of spaces.
• Knowledge of iconography, typography, color theory and textures.
• Comfortable in using Figma or Adobe Suite.
• High proficiency in creating responsive design
