Job Summary

US IT Sales Executive


Key Responsibilities


1. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified prospects in the

    US IT services sector

    .
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, decision-makers, and industry trends.


2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain, and nurture long-term client relationships with CXOs, IT Managers, and Procurement Heads.
  • Understand client requirements and tailor IT solutions to address their specific business challenges.
  • Manage client communications and ensure a smooth handover to delivery and account management teams.


3. Sales Execution

  • Conduct sales presentations, product demos, and negotiations with potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Work closely with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure successful project initiation and completion.


4. Market & Product Knowledge

  • Maintain strong knowledge of company offerings such as

    IT consulting, software development, cloud services, managed IT services, cybersecurity, and staffing solutions.

  • Stay updated with US IT industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.



Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related field.

  • 2–5 years of experience in

    IT Sales / Business Development

    , preferably targeting

    US clients

    .
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts (software development lifecycle, cloud, DevOps, ERP, etc.).
  • Experience working with

    CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, etc.)

    .
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in

    selling IT services, software development, or technology staffing

    to

    US-based clients

    .
  • Understanding of

    B2B sales cycle

    and familiarity with

    US time zones and market culture.

  • Prior experience in

    inside sales or outbound lead generation

    for the

    North American market.


Compensation:

  • Base salary + performance-based incentives
