We are currently hiring for the role of a Network Technician Specialist with a Leading firm based in Mumbai.

Designation: Network Technician Specialist (Field Job)

Location: Mumbai (Vikhroli)

Salary: Upto 9-10LPA (depending on last drawn Salary)

Experience Required: Minimum 5years+ in Firewall Configuration and Installation.

Education: Any Graduate

Dayshift with Alternate Sat Offs/Sun fixed off

CCNA or NSE 4 Trained or certified

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishing networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.

• The design and implementation of new solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.

• Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.

• undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.

• securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.

• the support and administration of firewall environments in line with IT security policy.

• updating job knowledge by taking part in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and taking part in professional organizations.

• reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information and managing projects.

• upgrading data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.

• configuration of routing and switching equipment.

• configuration of hosted IP voice services.

• configuration of firewalls.

• Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.

• Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.

• Capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centres.

• Liaising with the project management team, 3rd line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis.

• Speaking with customers via email and phone for initial requirement capture.

Certifications:

• Mandatory: CCNA Certified or Trained

• Preferred: CCNSP, NSE4

Technical Skills

• Cisco Routers C Switches

• Firewalls: Sophos Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA SonicWall, Juniper

• Wireless Routers C Access Points

• Strong understanding of OSI Model C TCP/IP

• Protocols: IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, NAT, VRRP, HA

• Firewall rule configurations and security policy enforcement.

Qualification:

• Any Graduate

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.

• Team player with a proactive attitude towards continuous learning

• Willingness to Travel at client locations.
