Job Overview:


We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Upwork Specialist (International Business Development Executive) to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new international business opportunities, primarily through platforms like Upwork and other freelance marketplaces.

This is a strategic role focused on generating qualified leads, building strong client relationships, and driving sales conversions in the international IT services market.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Proactively identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Understand client requirements and propose tailored IT service solutions accordingly.
  • Generate high-quality leads and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Track and report key metrics related to bidding, conversion, and revenue growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitor strategies.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT sales or business development, specifically handling Upwork or other freelance portals.
  • Proven track record of successful lead generation and sales conversion in international markets.
  • Strong understanding of IT services (Web Development, Mobile App Development, Software Solutions, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with tools like CRM, Trello, Slack, etc., is a plus.
