We are seeking a Senior Upwork Bidder with proven experience in winning high-value IT projects, managing multiple Upwork profiles, and optimizing profiles for SEO visibility.

Role Overview

This role goes beyond just submitting bids — you will be strategizing, managing multiple accounts, optimizing profiles, and driving conversions. You will collaborate with our technical team to qualify leads, prepare accurate proposals, and close projects that align with our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Profile Management: Handle and optimize multiple Upwork profiles for maximum visibility and ranking.
  • SEO Optimization: Implement Upwork SEO strategies (keywords, tags, boosting, proposals visibility).
  • Bidding Strategy: Submit minimum 5–7 tailored proposals daily on relevant IT projects.
  • Lead Engagement: Engage clients through Upwork chat, Zoom/Google Meet calls, and follow-ups.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers and developers for scope, estimates, and deliverables.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain proposal, lead, and closure records in CRM tools.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly and monthly performance reports to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as an Upwork Bidder / BDE in the IT sector.
  • Demonstrated success in closing projects worth $5k+.
  • Strong expertise in Upwork SEO optimization & profile ranking.
  • Ability to manage multiple Upwork profiles simultaneously.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Knowledge of IT services: SaaS, ERP, eCommerce, Web & Mobile Development.
  • Strong lead qualification and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline tracking.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with LinkedIn lead generation & outreach.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing & SEO (beyond Upwork).
  • Experience handling client calls, requirement gathering, and documentation.
  • Target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.

Performance KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

To succeed in this role, the candidate must consistently meet the following measurable goals:

  • Proposals: 5–7 high-quality, customized proposals per day.
  • Client Chats: Minimum 10 meaningful client conversations per week.
  • Closures: At least 2–3 projects closed per month (depending on size/value).
  • Response Time: Respond to client messages within 2 hours during working hours.
  • Pipeline Growth: Maintain and update CRM with 100% accuracy.
  • Profile Growth: Improve Upwork profile rankings and job success score monthly.
