UI/UX Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Support the design team in creating wireframes and prototypes.
• Help in developing user personas and scenarios.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Assist in creating visually appealing graphics and layouts.
• Work on improving existing interfaces based on user feedback.
• Document design processes and maintain project files.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools.
• Help in preparing presentations for stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on design decisions.
• Collect and analyze user feedback to enhance overall experiences.
• Support the team in scheduling and conducting user testing sessions.
• Learn and apply design best practices in daily tasks.
• Maintain a user-centric approach in all design efforts.
• Contribute to the development of style guides and design systems.
  

Required Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree programme in Design, HCI, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and design processes.
• Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
• Understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant design projects.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite).
• Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Passionate about improving user experiences.
• Previous internship experience in design is a plus but not mandatory.
