About the Role

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer with strong design fundamentals and a forward-looking mindset to join our product team. This role is perfect for someone who not only creates visually engaging designs but also understands how to bring them to life in collaboration with engineers. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate business requirements into intuitive, delightful, and functional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

User Experience Design

• Craft wireframes, user flows, and prototypes in Figma to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Lead user research and usability testing, gathering insights to refine designs.
• Ensure designs align with accessibility, inclusivity, and responsiveness standards.

User Interface Design

• Create pixel-perfect UI components, layouts, and design systems in Figma.
• Apply motion design or micro-interactions to enhance usability.
• Maintain design consistency across web and mobile platforms.
• Design-to-Development Handoff
• Use tools like Figma’s Dev Mode, Zeplin, or Storybook to provide engineers with clean assets and clear design specs.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure faithful implementation of designs.
• Understand front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic React/Flutter concepts) to better communicate with developers.

New-Age Skills

• Prompt engineers effectively to ensure designs are implemented with accuracy and performance in mind.
• Leverage AI-assisted design tools (e.g., MidJourney, DALL·E, Galileo AI, Uizard) to speed up ideation and asset generation.
• Explore and prototype using no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Framer, Webflow) for rapid validation.
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving a scalable design system.

Collaboration & Growth

• Work closely with senior designers to learn best practices and continuously improve craft.
• Stay updated on design trends, interaction models, and AI-driven design innovations.
• Communicate design rationale and present work clearly to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio demonstrating capabilities.
• Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping, dev handoff).
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, React concepts preferred).
• Strong visual design sensibility with knowledge of typography, color, and grid systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in no-code/low-code platforms (Framer, Webflow, Bubble).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience contributing to or managing a design system.
• Motion/interaction design skills (After Effects, Lottie, Figma Motion plugins).
