Job Description Summary The ITP (Inspection Test Plan) QA Engineer should provide facility support in the Preparation of Inspection Test Plan and Quality Procedures to customer to ensure all the quality requirements has been captured in it as per the requirement of Customer Specification and PO. He should be responsible to generate and maintain quality related procedures, specifications, and systems to ensure customer requirements are effectively planned, and ensure that the operations, material control and processes satisfy customer and Flowserve requirements. Review of customer specifications associated with project Quality processes and ensure that the Quality requirements of the Project are included within the ITP (Inspection Test Plan). Understand the Quality requirements of a component manufacturing and support to Prepare the ITP (Inspection Test Plan). Interact & communicate with customer, supplier & other functional areas including manufacturing, purchasing, production, and field service/repair to evaluate on quality requirements are captured in ITP as requested by customer in the specification. Proficiency in various customer specifications like ADNOC, ARAMCO etc. Proficiency in various standards like API, ASME, ASTM etc. Attending Meeting with Customer to Attending KOM (Kick Off Meeting) with Customer to understand the quality requirements. Attending PIM (Pre-Inspection Meeting) along with customer/End-user. Attending OHM (Order Hand over Meeting) along with Project team and applications team. Attending Project meetings with all stake holders to ensure the quality requirements are met with respective customer specification. Support Other Quality Assurance activities like Supplier Audit, & Assessment Activities. Carry out various certifications like CE, ATEX, REAH, U/L etc. Required experience in those. Knowledge in various process like incoming inspection, stage inspection and Final inspection of various items Review and approve bought-out inspection and test plans from suppliers and ensure alignment with internal quality standards and customer requirements. (Motor, seal system, turbine, gear box, lube oil system) Partner with QC incoming, in-process and final inspection to assure Quality compliance in the site. Support internal and external audits and conduct various quality control spot / regular inspections on products as required during problem analysis. Identify areas of improvement (internal, external and supplier) and develop quality improvement programs utilizing quality tools and statistical techniques. Required Experience/Qualifications and Skills DME with 10-12 Years of Experience or BE with 0-2 Years of Experience (manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical). knowledge of inspection equipment found in machining, assembly and test operations of pumps and associated accessories. Quality experience preferably in Pumps OEM environment. Maintain ITP database, tool setting standards, and ensure Project s documentation controlled and updated. Preferably certified internal/Lead Auditor 9001:2015. Strong knowledge of API 610 standards and other relevant industry regulations. Proficiency in non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques and procedures. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure. Responsible for design & development of tools and equipment for transportation, installation and maintenance of wind turbines Work with Design improvements, Module projects, Service repowering, Design Maintenance and cost outs etc Contribute to cost reduction and improve quality through standardization, modularization and process efficiency improvements Responsible for creation of technical design documentation such 3D CAD, 2D drawings, technical construction file, HSE risks assessment, DFMEA, PFMEA, Design verification procedure/report etc., adherence to relevant legislations Complete and provide support tasks for the business Develop Work packages Responsible for project completion through SAP/ERP/PDM ECM systems Ensure cross functional collaboration with relevant interface owners throughout the value chain Deliver the technical solution within quality, time and cost targets of the project Qualifications Bachelor / Masters in Mechanical/Similar specialization Minimum 7 years of professional experience in product development and detailed design Experience in mechanical / electro-mechanical design and specification in compliant to the relevant international standards Competencies Required-In-depth knowledge in Structural Mechanics essential Knowledge in CREO/ PDMlink & stage gate process for product development process Competencies Experience in 3D-Modeling and 2D-drafting, primarily using CREO/ PDMlink and project through ERP/ECM systems Broad Knowledge in Engineering Basics.-Experience in DFMEA and Risk assessment skills Techno-Commercial back-ground with ability to relate design & Technical/Process related solutions in the Industry to Cost Experience in prototype development & testing Knowledge on FEA (ANSYS/pro-mechanical) Knowledge of design for manufacturing and insight into wind turbines, e.g. welding processes and material properties Knowledge of design for serviceability Knowledge of Wind turbines, Electrical Components & heavy lifting/ Transportation equipment
