Job Description

Power plant details: - 2* 40 TPH AFBC Boiler & 15 MW BHEL Make Turbine with working Pressure 62.6 Kg/Cm2, Water cooled condenser, counter flow cooling tower

Requirement- Operation Shift In-charge, BOE Certified, Diploma/BE with min 5 to10 years of experience in CPP desk operation.

Job Responsibility of Operation Shift In-charge

  • Must focus more on desk operation.
  • Desk Operation of Boilers & turbine and its Associated auxiliaries. Boiler preparation for light up and smooth operation with DCS, auxiliaries ESP, APRDS, coal handling plant, ash handling plant, air compressor, fan & pumps. Water treatment by anion, cation exchanger units.
  • Operational knowledge about turbine, condenser, cooling tower, etc. Independently plan, co-ordinate and manage every aspect of site operation.
  • Co-ordination with maintenance team.
  • Ensure compliance & implementation of the terms and conditions of operation & maintenance agreement
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory laws, safety & environment protection standards
  • Check the healthiness of equipment in shift wise operation and note down the parameters through walk by inspections at the concerned areas
  • Trouble shooting of Boiler & Turbine and its related equipment
  • Emergency handling such as plant black-out, problems in coal feeding, water & steam leakages, etc.
  • Defects to be listed out and coordinate with concern team for rectification
  • Maintain the housekeeping of department

Mandatory Requirements

  • Must having minimum 5 years of Hand-on experience in AFBC Boiler (with minimum working pressure of 60kg/cm2 minimum capacity of 40 TPH) and Turbine Operation and Maintenance
  • Must be read and write in English & Hindi
  • Managing the shift manpower
  • Ensure the 100% safety compliance
  • Responsible for ensuring the safety of self and team members
  • Vendor must ensure discipline and adherence of our Company H&S and HR policies & guidelines for their workmen working inside the company and those residing at Company colony premises.
  • Statutory requirements such as PF / ESI / WC / Bonus / Gratuity are in vendor scope.
  • Vendor must adhere to any other statutory compliance of Company H&S guidelines and HR policies.
  • Vendor must ensure manpower availability Within two days (in case of attrition/absenteeism from more than week)
  • All PPEs as per the job requirement is considered in vendor scope.
  • Vendor is requested to submit the best offer meeting the above requirements and vendor has to share the clients list & Resume of manpower for our reference.
  • ACC will conduct interview for the manpower before finalizing the contract and recruitment by vendor is based on the final consent from Company .
  • The concerned person must be medically fit, young & energetic with good understanding of Health & safety systems and good emergency handling & troubleshooting skills.
