Job Title: Trainer
Location: Mohali (Punjab)
Role: Contractual (10-12 Months)
Role Overview:
The Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs for large-scale project teams. The role involves ensuring that field staff and other project personnel are well-equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to carry out their responsibilities effectively. The Trainer will collaborate with project leadership, survey specialists, and operations teams to ensure uniform understanding of processes, tools, and data collection methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and customize training content, materials, and manuals based on project needs
· Deliver training programs to large batches of participants, including field surveyors, data collectors, and supervisors
· Ensure proper understanding of questionnaires, response recording protocols, and quality standards
· Conduct practical sessions for mobile and tablet handling for survey operations
· Assess training effectiveness through tests, role plays, and mock exercises
· Coordinate with project managers and survey specialists to ensure content accuracy and relevance
· Provide post-training support and clarifications to field teams
· Maintain training records, feedback forms, and evaluation reports
Required Qualifications & Experience:
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
· ≥ 3 years of experience in designing and delivering training programs for large-scale projects
· OR at least two surveys involving 1,50,000+ respondents/beneficiaries/household Educational Qualification: Graduate, preferably B.E/B. Tech/MCA/MBA
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of questionnaire interpretation and response recording techniques
· Proficiency in basic IT skills and mobile device handling
· Experience in training for digital survey tools (e.g., ODK, SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox)
· Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
· Ability to engage and motivate large and diverse participant groups
· Strong organizational and time management abilities
· Adaptability to work in different locations and field conditions
