Job Description

You are an experienced and motivated Trade Marketing Manager responsible for developing and implementing trade strategies across General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels. Your role is crucial in enhancing in-store visibility, retail activation, and brand performance in highly competitive retail environments. As a cross-functional leader, you are adept at aligning sales and marketing efforts with on-ground execution. Your primary responsibilities include strategic planning, where you create and execute regional trade marketing plans that align with national brand strategy and sales objectives. You identify region-specific opportunities and customize campaigns to suit local retail dynamics. In terms of retail activation and visibility, you oversee in-store branding, product displays, POP/POSM deployment, and visual merchandising. You also plan and supervise promotional campaigns, in-store sampling, and consumer engagement initiatives. Collaboration and execution are key aspects of your role, where you closely collaborate with sales teams and distribution partners to ensure the timely and consistent execution of trade programs. You act as the liaison between brand teams and the field force to ensure messaging consistency and execution excellence. Additionally, you monitor and manage trade marketing budgets, track campaign ROI, and optimize resource allocation. You maintain reports on campaign performance, market feedback, and competitive benchmarking. Furthermore, you analyze shopper behavior, footfall patterns, and category performance to enhance conversion at the shelf. You provide recommendations for planogram improvements and retail strategies based on data and store-level insights. You oversee the design, production, and timely deployment of point-of-sale materials and trade collateral. You manage relationships with external agencies and vendors for fabrication, printing, and logistics. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4-8 years of relevant experience in Trade Marketing within the FMCG industry. You must possess hands-on experience managing GT and MT channels with a proven track record in retail activation. A strong understanding of shopper marketing, planograms, and retail display strategies is essential. You should demonstrate the ability to manage large-scale budgets, measure ROI, and enhance marketing efficiency. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are vital, along with strong analytical capabilities to derive actionable insights from sales and shopper data. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required, with exposure to data tools such as Nielsen and retail audits considered a plus.,
