Job Description

Position: Associate/AVP - HR - Total Rewards (Compensation) - PAN India role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the

    annual compensation planning and execution

    process in alignment with business and HR objectives.
  • Manage

    compensation analytics and data management

    to support informed decision-making.
  • Participate in

    market benchmarking and compensation surveys

    ; provide insights on market competitiveness and pay positioning.
  • Deliver

    consultative support

    to HR Business Partners and business leaders on pay structures, new hire fitments, and internal equity.
  • Coordinate with

    regional and global Total Rewards teams

    to ensure compliance with global policies and practices.
  • Design and maintain

    salary structures, pay bands, and job evaluation frameworks

    .
  • Manage relationships with

    external compensation consultants and internal stakeholders

    .
  • Support

    ad-hoc projects

    related to compensation design, employee experience, and process enhancement.
  • Provide guidance on

    compensation-related matters

    including taxation, mobility, and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to broader

    HR initiatives

    in rewards and recognition, benefits harmonization, and performance-linked pay design.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Full-time MBA (

    mandatory).
  • 7+ years

    of experience in

    Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards

    in a large corporate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with

    advanced proficiency in MS Excel

    (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Sound understanding of

    compensation benchmarking methodologies

    and market survey participation.
  • Familiarity with

    HR systems

    such as

    SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle

    preferred.
  • Exposure to

    Indian statutory benefits and taxation

    framework.
  • Excellent

    communication, stakeholder management, and presentation

    skills.
