Job Summary:

The Tool Room Incharge will be responsible for managing all tool room operations, ensuring availability, maintenance, and timely repair of tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and experience in maintaining precision tools to support smooth production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tool Management & Maintenance
• Supervise daily tool room operations.
• Ensure all tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures are in proper working condition.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule for tools & dies.
• Handle tool repair, modification, and improvement activities.

• Inventory & Documentation
• Maintain tool inventory, records, and tool history cards.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and tracking of tools.
• Raise requirements for new tools and consumables.

• Production Support
• Coordinate with production, design, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure timely availability of tools for production without delay.
• Support new product development with tool-related inputs.

• Quality & Safety Compliance
• Maintain tool accuracy and dimensional standards.
• Ensure calibration of measuring tools and gauges.
• Follow safety standards inside the tool room.

• Team Management
• Lead a team of tool makers, technicians, and helpers.
• Provide training on tool handling, maintenance, and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI in Tool & Die Making / Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5–8 years of tool room experience.
• Strong knowledge of press tools, injection molds, jigs, fixtures.
• Experience in CNC, VMC, grinding, lathe & other tool room machines.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Good leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
