Engineer / Sr. Engineer – Toolroom (Project Planning & Control) Industry: Sheet Metal Manufacturing Experience: 6 -10 Years Location: Balanagar, Hyderabad 🔹 Key Responsibilities 1. New press Development & Planning • Plan and execute new tool development as per project requirements • Prepare time plans as per customer events and delivery timelines 2. Press tools Modification & Trials • Tools as per CAD data • Conduct new tool trials and implement corrections based on trial part feedback 3. Project Monitoring & Coordination • Monitor and follow up on tool status daily • Coordinate with Design, Fitting, Quality, and Shift Supervisors for machining and shop-floor operations 4. Machining & Scheduling • Prepare and monitor machining schedules • Plan machining capacity and manage outsourced machining jobs 5. Shop Floor & Manpower Handling • Supervise machine operations and manage manpower at the shop floor • Ensure implementation of 5S and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) 6. Documentation & Reporting • Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation • Prepare weekly tool progress reports 7. Technical Skills • Proficient in 2D drawing (NX) • Strong knowledge of tooling, machining, corrections, and process improvements 8.
