Testing Engineer

Job Type: Full-time Mode: Remote / Hybrid (as applicable) Experience: 0.5–4 Years (Freshers with strong fundamentals can apply) Domain: ERP / Business Applications (Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Sales)   Role Summary We’re hiring a Testing Engineer to own quality delivery across our ERP product ecosystem. You will validate business workflows, catch regression risks early, create high-quality test documentation, and collaborate closely with product + developers to ship stable releases. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility into management and product decisions.   Key Responsibilities Execute manual testing for ERP workflows (Inventory, Purchase, Sales, Finance, HR, etc.) Create and maintain Test Cases / Test Plans / Test Scenarios (module-wise) Perform Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Functional, Integration, and UAT Support Log bugs with clear reproduction steps, root-cause hints, screenshots/video, expected vs actual Validate role permissions, approvals/workflows, and audit trails Support API testing (Postman) and basic database validation (MySQL queries) Collaborate with dev/product on requirement walkthroughs and release sign-off Improve QA flow via checklists, templates, and repeatable test packs (Preferred) Automation baseline for key flows (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium) — optional for junior   Must-Have Skills Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and QA fundamentals Hands-on manual testing experience (or strong internship/project exposure) Ability to convert requirements into clear test cases Strong bug reporting + communication skills Comfort with web apps + browser debugging basics   Good-to-Have (High Value) ERP domain understanding (invoicing, stock, PO/GRN, approvals, reports) Postman for API testing MySQL basics (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE) Automation exposure (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium) Experience with Jira/Trello/ClickUp or similar tools   What You’ll Get Direct product exposure (enterprise-grade ERP workflows) Fast growth track: QA → Senior QA → QA Lead / Business QA Analyst Structured checklists + templates + mentorship from product and dev teams     Pre-Screen Questions Knockout / Must-answer Are you comfortable with manual testing of business applications (ERP/CRM/Web apps)?
