About the role

Name of the position:Development Engineer

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech

Position Description:Testing and development engineer: Motorcycle/scooter engine assembly, performance and durability testing for achieving target performance, fuel economy, emissions and drive feel

Roles & Responsibilities:

Conduct prototype assembly of engines and subsystems
Conduct overall engine and part level validation on engine dynamometer as per standards
Conduct vehicle level testing on-road and on chassis dynamometer as per standards
Conduct benchmarking studies
Prior experience in hybrid technology is a plus
Conduct DVP testing as per project time
Prepare test reports, POC reports and DVP reports
Support in updating of test standards and interact with other departments, sections and suppliers

Technical Competencies:

Engine and vehicle testing
Automotive Fundamentals
Knowledge of Engineering drawings
Experience in statistics and basics of data analysis
Experience in hybrid vehicles testing
Familiarity in operating engine and chassis dynamometers
